EES Student Survey / View the Screener Questions

For the student survey, students will be asked to rate their agreement with the statements found below.

 

Survey for Students in 4th and 5th Grades

Belonging & Identity

My school treats everyone fairly

I feel proud of my school

In my school, I feel that I belong to a group of friends

There's at least one adult in this school I can talk to if I have a problem

I feel good about my family traditions


Critical Thinking

I like to imagine new ways to do things

When my solution to a problem is not working, I stop to think about what might be going

When I have a problem, I stop to think about different possible solutions

I am good at finding the best solutions to my problems

When I have a problem, the first thing I do is break it into smaller steps


Future Orientation

I am good at staying focused on my goals

I know I will graduate from high school

I have a plan for what I want to do after high school

I am hopeful about my future


Perseverance/Stamina

I am a hard worker

I finish whatever I begin

I am not discouraged when things aren't going well


Interpersonal Skills

Students are asked to help solve problems in this school

My teacher tells me how I am doing in class

Adults in this school help me plan and set goals for my future

Information on how to opt out if you do not want your child to participate in the EES Student Survey. You may complete this process online, using the GCPS Parent Portal, or provide the request in writing to your child’s school by Friday, January 26, 2024.
