Gwinnett County Public Schools' Office of Counseling, College and Career Services recently honored six outstanding elementary, middle, and high school students with Caring Awards. The recipients were recognized for demonstrating kindness, empathy, and community engagement at their respective schools. The event took place at the J. Alvin Wilbanks Instructional Support Center and was attended by parents, principals, counselors, teacher leaders, district leaders, and members of the Gwinnett County Board of Education.
“The Caring Award continues to be a beacon of hope, inspiring the next generation of empathetic leaders committed to fostering a more caring and inclusive world,” says Director of Counseling, College and Career Services Dr. Demetria Williams. “In an era often overshadowed by negativity, it is a privilege to acknowledge and nurture the young visionaries who are poised to leave an indelible mark on our schools and society.”
