Inclusive learning and play are alive at Cooper Elementary School. The school recently unveiled a new playground that serves the needs of nearly 20 percent of its student population. The new playground is safe and accessible for students with physical challenges to have a fun and equitable recess experience.

Gwinnett County Public Schools (GCPS) is inviting parents and guardians, community members, and school district employees to apply for the GEMS Oversight Committee, a group of community and school system representatives charged with the annual review of the Academic Knowledge and Skills (AKS) curriculum standards. The next meeting is tentatively scheduled for Oct. 29, 2024.
