Academic Services

The Office of Academic Services is led by Dr. Nikki Mouton, Deputy Superintendent, and provides strategic leadership and direction over the divisions of Teaching and Learning and Strategy, Performance, and Accountability.

The Division of Teaching and Learning, in alignment with Our Blueprint for the Future: Building the Bridge from Empathy to Excellence, is charged with the following goal: “Expand student opportunities to engage in and access high-quality, rigorous, and culturally relevant curriculum, advanced coursework (e.g., Advanced Placement and dual enrollment), and enrichment activities (e.g., the arts, gifted, STEM, career technical education).”

The Division of Strategy, Performance, and Accountability’s goal is to “Redefine the inputs, behaviors, and outcomes that determine the standards for student success as measured by the Results-Based Evaluation System (RBES) to support school improvement and student growth.”
