The Office of Operational Services is led by the Deputy Superintendent of Operational Services and provides strategic leadership and direction over the functions of Business and Finance, Facilities and Operations, Human Resources, and Technology & Innovation.
The Division of Business and Finance, in alignment with Our Blueprint for the Future: Building the Bridge from Empathy to Excellence, the division supports Strategic Priority #3, Effectiveness, and is charged with the goal: "Maintain historically strong fiscal management practices and develop a decision matrix to evaluate the trade-offs between investing in student needs and prioritizing fund balance growth."
The Division of Human Resources is focused on talent management, talent retention, and supporting Team GCPS with operational efficiency. In alignment with our Blueprint for the Future, the division recruits and supports Team GCPS, and maintains a tradition of organizational excellence. The goal of the division is to "transform the human resources function into a strategic talent management organization that supports educators and staff to achieve district goals."
The Division of Technology & Innovation is focused on supporting and maintaining the digital infrastructure for Team GCPS, and facilitating technology platforms that allow our students to achieve and perform with excellence. The division manages the school district's technology resources, tools, infrastructure, and digital platforms that serve more than 182,000 students and 22,000 members of Team GCPS. As stated in Our Blueprint for the Future, the Office of Technology and Innovation will "revise and implement updated systems, structures, and processes for progress monitoring."

- Evaluate operational spending and contracted services to maximize productivity and efficiency toward reallocating cost savings to support students and teachers.
- Create systems to rate the quality and condition of physical learning environments to ensure they are conducive to teaching and learning.
