- Gwinnett Online Campus had the theme of C.A.R.E. for students and staff to Connect, Achieve, Reflect, and Excel. The school family focused on caring for one another and the community by completing a number of service projects throughout the school year.
- GOC welcomed grades K-3 and expanded Special Education services to the Full-Time program in the fall of 2022.
- Middle School Counselor, Dr. Teisha Dula, won a 2023 GCPS Counseling Award for Writer of the Year.
- Student Jhai Brown was selected as a Festival Favorite for his "Jhai's Space Adventure" project at the GCPS 2023 Media Festival Showcase.
- GOC was named a 2023 AP Honor School.
- GOC offered 15 complete career pathways providing the opportunity for any GCPS student to take a needed course through the supplemental program to complete a pathway.
- Through the Graduate Gwinnett program, 143 students met their goal to receive their diploma during this school year.
- Avery Britt and Jackson Lee were members of the All-State Theatre Group at Thescon and Jackson was chosen for a solo in the opening number. Skylar J. and Avery Britt earned all superiors on their individual Thespys at Thescon and Avery Britt was selected to perform her thespy at closing ceremonies. The Group Thespy performance earned all excellents.
- Principal Dr. Christopher Ray, was named a finalist for the fifth consecutive year in the Leadership Category of the 2023 EdTech Awards. The EdTech Awards recognizes people in and around education for outstanding contributions in transforming education through technology to enrich the lives of learners everywhere. Dr. Ray has been chosen as a School Leader Finalist.
- Junior Avery Britt made it into the 2023 Governor's Honors program for this summer in the area of Soprano Voice.
