Corley Elementary allows students to engage in various extracurricular clubs throughout the school year. This includes the Gardening Club, Chess, Drama, Art, Walking, Chorus, Leadership, Robotics, LEGO, and more. These opportunities ensure that each and every student has the opportunity to choose a club based on their interest.

Corley Elementary hosted community events, including an International Day Parade, Literacy Night, Math/Science Night, the Shamrock Shake, Trunk Or Treat, Parent Workshops, and other events to solidify a community and school relationship.

Corley Elementary has created a Parent Advisory Council (PTA) . Within this group, local parents and community members are able to meet with Mrs. Duckworth monthly. Within each meeting are brainstorming opportunities to plan for future events and the creation of a Parent Teacher Association (PTA).

Corley Elementary was recognized with the CS 100 "All In" Award as a school committed to teaching 100% of students computer science in accordance with computer standards during the 2023-2024 school year.

Corley Elementary honored kindergarten student achievements with the first schoolwide promotion ceremony attended by parents and community members.

Corley Elementary, through Title I, was able to offer extended planning and release time for teachers throughout the school year.

Extended Learning Time Academy, funded through Title I, was offered to students who needed additional academic support in reading and math.

Corley Elementary offers a Play 2 Learn program for children ages 0 to 5. The program provides an opportunity for children and parents to learn through engaging lesson plans in a preschool setting throughout the school year and assist with kindergarten readiness.

Corley Elementary was recognized by the Georgia Department of Education with Operational status for its implementation of Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) in the last school year. PBIS encourages positive behaviors with recognition for students who exhibit appropriate school conduct.
